There is an unseen world. I like to call it another dimension. It is a dimension that you and I were meant to experience and enjoy. Just because it is an unseen world does not mean that it does not exist or is any less real. The writer Matthew reminds us that Jesus said that God is unseen.
Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.
We are also reminded of the fact that God is invisible and yet very real.
1 Timothy 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, INVISIBLE, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Our physical senses help us to determine what is real. If we can see it, smell it, feel it, taste it or hear it, it must be real. The opposite is that if we cannot see it, smell it, feel it, taste it or hear it, we doubt its existence. Even the disciples battled with this very aspect. Thomas, one of the disciples, doubted that Jesus had come back to life. He insisted that unless he could see Jesus with his physical eyes and feel Him with his physical hands, he would not believe.
John 20:29 Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
