Genesis 18:13-14
The LORD said to Abraham, ‘Why did Sarah laugh? Is anything too hard for the LORD?’

Determination and perseverance are closely linked. In a sense it is easy to make the decision to be determined. But sometimes we do not see the results immediately and that calls for perseverance. We need to persevere in our determination. We must not give up to soon.

Matthew 10:22 but he who perseveres and endures to the end will be saved!
Mark 13:13 but he who patiently perseveres and endures to the end will be saved!
Ephesians 6:18 keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance.

The ‘strong purpose’ sounds like determination. The ‘keep alert and watch’ sounds like perseverance.
