Psalm 118:29 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is so good! For his loving-kindness is forever.
There is a statement that says: ‘God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good.’ God is a good God and He wants to be good to each on e of us. For this reason we can be thankful, both for what God has done and for the good things that He wants to do.
Often times in life as we face the pressures and issues of life, we can become critical and dissatisfied. God is looking for those who have developed thankful hearts. We may not always be thankful for everything we have to face, but we can be thankful in everything.
Ephesians 5:20 Always give thanks for everything to our God and Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is interesting to note that this scripture tells us to ‘always give thanks’. This is the lifestyle of thankfulness that I believe God is looking for. Let’s determine that we are going to be thankful people. Find something to be thankful for and begin to develop a lifestyle of thankfulness.
