BE STRENGTHENED IN THE FAITH
Don’t give doubt a space in your life. Doubt your doubts and believe your faith. Believe with an even greater conviction. Be more persuaded than ever before.
Romans 4:20 ‘Yet he (Abraham) did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God.’
BE THANKFUL
Thankfulness is a vital component of every believer’s life. Thankfulness causes us to appreciate all that He has done for us. Unthankfulness can cause us heartache and bitterness. By His great hand He has brought you to this point and the future is something that He will take care of, both in life and in eternity. Thankfulness opens the door to greater blessing, greater revelation and greater relationship.
DON’T BE DECEIVED
Colossians 2:8 ‘Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.’ (New Living Translation)
There is a danger that we can be deceived. I love the phrase: ‘Don’t let anyone capture you…’ What are the things that can deceive us?
- Empty philosophies.
- High-sounding nonsense.
- Human thinking.
- The spiritual powers of this world.
What is their aim? To draw us away from Christ Jesus. To reduce Him. The world will do everything in its power to dilute or reduce Christ. Other religions will try to reduce Him to a prophet. Other beliefs will try to reduce Him to just a good man. Other ideas will try to reduce Him to the Son of God but not God. Don’t be deceived by any form of argument or fancy reasoning. It is error! Let Him be your final authority. Let what He did and said and what the Word of God says be your persuasion.
