Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains may depart and the hills disappear, but my kindness shall not leave you. My promise of peace for you will never be broken, says the Lord who has mercy upon you.
The promise of peace that God offers us will never be broken. Jesus said that He had a gift for us and this gift was a gift of peace.
John 14:27 I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
Yet I have seen many good Christian people live without much peace in their lives. The issue is do we trust God enough?
Isaiah 26:3 He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord!
