There is something fresh that God wants to do. There is fresh strength, there is renewed power available to us and there is fresh joy.
Isaiah 29:19 The meek will be filled with fresh joy from the Lord.
If we are going to enjoy the fresh things that God has for us, we need to be renewed.
Mark 2:22 You know better than to put new wine into old wineskins. They would burst. The wine would be spilled out and the wineskins ruined. New wine needs fresh wineskins.
That is why it is so important for us that God does the work of creating a new heart within us and placing within us a right spirit. That is the only way in which we can be fresh and different.
Romans 12:2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think. Then you will learn from your own experience how his ways will really satisfy you.
