Faith is something that pleases God. God finds faith in humans something that makes Him happy. In other words God is looking for faith in our lives and when He sees it, it moves Him.

Hebrews 11:6 You can never please God without faith, without depending on Him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that He rewards those who sincerely look for Him. Look at Jesus’ reaction to faith:
Luke 7:9 Jesus was amazed. Turning to the crowd He said, “Never among all the Jews in Israel have I met a man with faith like this.”
James 1:7-8 If you don’t ask with faith, don’t expect the Lord to give you any solid answer.
