Some people are not willing to respond to the instructions of the Lord. Instructions for His word, the Bible. Instructions from His Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 30:9 ‘These are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction.’
When it comes to the plan of God for our lives there are two important things:
1. Listening. We need to learn to listen. Especially to what the Holy Spirit would say to us.
2. Following. Once we have learnt to listen, it is time for obedience.
Don’t get discouraged. God has got wonderful things is store for us. We do not need to fear. His plans for us are far better that the best plans we can have for ourselves.
Jeremiah 29:11 ‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’
Follow our own plans CAN lead to problems. Following God’s plans will always bring success.
