The outpouring of the precious Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost was an event that shook the city of Jerusalem!  It impacted the local community who heard the sound of the rushing mighty wind! And, it transformed the followers of the Lord Jesus who had witnessed the shocking crucifixion of Jesus some fifty days before and who had seen Jesus at different times during His post-resurrection appearances!  The coming in power of the Holy Spirit on this very special day CHANGED EVERYTHING!
One of the significant results was a new boldness that came over them!  Peter was anointed by God to powerfully preach the message of the Lord in his sermon recorded for us in Acts 2:14-36.
Peter reached the climax of his message in verse 36 where he said:

Acts 2:36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.
