Many people are feeling challenged and down-hearted at the moment. In the midst of all of this I sense the Lord is saying that He is going to bring relief. This relief can come in many forms and would vary from person to person and from situation to situation. Relief is not like winning the jackpot, but relief is a change in conditions or circumstances so that it is easier to carry the load.
We all carry loads/burdens with us in life. Especially now! The source of these loads can result from almost any and every circumstance in life. The loads we carry can, with time, become oppressive, painful or distressing. I believe that God wants to come and either remove or lighten or relieve that load. We were never meant to carry it alone. Let’s expect that God is going to step into our situation and circumstances and bring the relief we need.
Matthew 11:28–30 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.’
