The next step is the on-going growth that we can experience as our pursuit of God becomes our way of life.
Colossians 2:7 Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him. See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all He has done.
I love that phrase: ‘DRAW UP NOURISHMENT FROM HIM’. This is a living, exciting and rewarding life.
Hebrews 7:19 But now we have a far better hope, for Christ makes us acceptable to God, and now we may draw near to Him.
James 4:8 And when you draw close to God, God will draw close to you.
