Matthew 28:8-9 The women ran from the tomb, badly frightened, but also filled with joy, and rushed to find the disciples to give them the angel’s message. 9And as they were running, suddenly Jesus was there in front of them! “Good morning!” he said. And they fell to the ground before him, holding his feet and worshiping him.
This is an amazing story. These women were so sensitive that at the very sound of Jesus voice they fell on the ground in front of Him and grabbed His feet. This adds a new dimension, not only were they at His feet, but they were holding His feet. They knew the one thing that they should never let go of – JESUS. We hold on to many things in life, BUT this is the real thing we should be holding on to, and His name is Jesus.
