Keys to spiritual maturity: Motivation (Part 5)

Revelation 19:1
‘Praise the LORD! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.’

keys to spiritual maturity -
This is the question we all need to ask ourselves. The Bible tells us that God weighs or examines our motives.

Proverbs 16:2 All a man’s ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord.

Living Translation: People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their motives.
If our motives are worthy of God’s observation and scrutiny, then we can know that our motives are worthy of our own careful examination. We need to get to that point where we submit our motives in humbleness to God so that He can help us to have the heavenly motivation He desired for us to have.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.

If our longing is to have right and Godly motives and there is a willingness to allow God to have His way in our lives, He will bring this about.
