Thankfulness is important to God. Thankfulness should be important to us. Being thankful is important. During the course of life we are exposed to many things. The things that we pass through have the potential of affecting our lives. But it is often times, only as we look back, that we begin to realise what God has done and how wonderful the things were that He did. When you look back on your life can you really be thankful?
God is looking for those people, who despite what they have been through have thankfulness and hearts full of thankfulness. There is a great song and the words are as follows: ‘How can I say thanks, for the things you have done for me. Things so undeserved yet you gave to prove your love for me. The voices of a million angels could not express my gratitude. All that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to Thee. To God be the Glory.’
