All over the world people are looking for happiness. Happiness is a sought after commodity. I believe that God has a life of joy and happiness in store for us. He wants to give us His joy. If we have Jesus living in us then we should be the happiest people around. It does not mean that things will always go right. But we will be able to rejoice in everything. Let’s allow a bit of this rejoicing to enter our hearts.
We have so much to be thankful for. The spirit of this age teaches us never to be satisfied or thankful. But God teaches that we need to be thankful.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Not thankful for everything, but thankful in everything. Happy people are thankful people. My Aunt who is so appreciative – what a pleasure. Think of what you can be thankful for. Take a moment just to be thankful.
