It is a strange fact of life, but it remains the truth, we all face disappointment. It is simply a reality of life. I have seen some people crushed and broken by disappointments. I have seen others challenged and survive disappointment to go on to become stronger individuals.  We see many of the men and women in the Bible grappling with these very issues.  It is in dealing with disappointment that the key to success lies.
Disappointment occurs when things in life do not work out according to our expectations, desires or hopes.  Disappointment sets in when our hopes and expectations are defeated or do not realize.
I am sure that as you take a moment, you can also think of times in your life when you faced some sort of disappointment.  People can disappoint us.  Things that don’t work out in our favour can disappoint us.  Opportunities missed can be a source of disappointment.  Lastly, regrets can also be the result of disappointments. We face these types of things every day and we need to know how to deal with them.
