God has given us many promises. Perhaps one of the greatest is found in Hebrews.
Hebrews 13:5 For God has said, “I will never, never fail you nor forsake you.”
God is not in the business of failing or forsaking us. He does not go around dropping people who desperately need His help. The One who wants to be our Helper, does not intend to dessert, leave or fail us. God wants to be a true, divine helper to us.
God’s help gives us reason not to fear. God’s help is the result of Him being with us.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.
God wants to strengthen us. God wants to help us. God wants to uphold us. God wants to give us support. God wants to lift us up and keep us elevated. We must not allow fear and discouragement to enter our lives.
