Isaiah 9:6
‘For a Child is born to us, a Son is given to us. He will be called: Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’

Then we need to begin to trust God all over again. We need to trust Him with the big things and the little things. This brings us back to the point of total dependence where we can get to the place where we say to God: ‘You know better than I’.

Proverbs 28:25 He who puts his trust in the Lord shall be enriched and blessed.
Isaiah 26:4 So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].
