We sometimes need to surrender our lives to God all over again. This brings us back to a place of dependency on God. It is as we are dependent on God that we can know the life restored.
The Bible speaks of the fact that God is the vine and we are the branches. The branches must stay connected to the vine to stay alive and enjoy the flow of life that comes from the vine. The branch without the vine is useless. Not having a connection with God is the surest way of dying, from the inside out! Look what the Bible tells us to do!
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
