The Bible tells us that these people were all waiting for Him.

- They had all been looking for Him.’ – The Bible In Plain English
- ‘They were indeed all looking for Him.’ – Greek Original.
Are you looking for, waiting for and expecting Him? We need to live like this each and every day. When we spend time praying, we are doing this.
When as a church we wait and long for His visitation and touch, we are doing this. When we have sinned and we turn to Him for mercy and grace, we are doing this. When we ask for revival, we are doing this. When we are facing the last moments of life and we hold onto Him, we are doing this.
When we cannot live without His touch in and on our lives, we are doing this. When we gather together to seek His face, we are doing this. When we set aside time to be with Him, we are doing this.
In Luke 8:22-40 these people had no knowledge of where Jesus had gone, or if and when He would be returning, but they waited with expectation and longing and with a sense of knowing that He would be back. Let us also live with a sense of expectation and longing each and every day, knowing that He is there and He is with us.
