The purpose

Daily Thought

Your Word for 17 May 2024

John 15:4
‘Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in Me.’

a time of restorationJust as in the natural when we restore furniture there is a purpose. Restoration is part of the process to prepare something for further and future use. We don’t restore a piece of furniture to store it in the garage. We restore furniture to use it and bring it out of obscurity and give it value and purpose. It is just the same in our spiritual lives.
God has a plan and purpose for each one of us and He wants to bring restoration so that He can use us, just as He intended to. Once a piece of furniture has been restored it can be replaced in a position of priority and visibility. That is exactly what God wants to do with you and me.
