When we are patient with others we give them breathing room. When we are impatient we generate more pressure for people and they distance themselves from us. We need to be patient with people. When we are patient, people can begin to feel that they have the support and the space to be able to move in the right direction.
1 Thessalonians 5:14 Dear brothers, warn those who are lazy, comfort those who are frightened, take tender care of those who are weak, and be patient with everyone.
The Bible tells us that one of the characteristics of love is that love is patient. This patient love can be a source of hope to others.
