If we are going to be a people of hope we will need to be flexible. People who are unaccommodating bring condemnation and hopelessness to others. Often times when people are going through difficulty, others do not fully understand the magnitude of the difficulty.  Under these circumstances judgment is easily made without a real understanding.  We need to remain flexible and make allowances for others and the things that they are facing.

Ephesians 4:2 Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.

In this way we can be a source of hope for others.
