When we run out of strength

Daily Thought

Your Word for 26 July 2024

Psalm 143:10
‘Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.’

need GodThis happens. We do run low or out of strength. Listen to what the psalmist wrote:

Psalm 22:14-15 My strength has drained away like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart melts like wax; my strength has dried up.

There will be days that we will feel like this.

Psalm 32:4 My strength evaporated like water on a sunny day.

This is why we need God’s strength.  God’s strength does not come and go.  God’s strength is constant and dependable.  We can approach God to give us His strength. When we feel weak this is the place to start.

Judges 16:28 Then Samson prayed to the Lord and said, “O Lord Jehovah, remember me again—please strengthen me one more time.
