Forgiveness was made available to us. We can know what it means to be forgiven and to have a clean slate.
Luke 24:46 There is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to Me.
Acts 13:38 Brothers! Listen! In this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins!
1 John 2:2 He is the one who took God’s wrath against our sins upon Himself and brought us into fellowship with God; and He is the forgiveness for our sins.
Jesus has paid for your sin. We can know God’s forgiveness in our lives.
1 John 1:9 But if we confess our sins to Him, He can be depended on to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. And it is perfectly proper for God to do this for us because Christ died to wash away our sins.
