God is there to point the way for us. He wants to be our guide.
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress.
Isaiah 58:11 And the Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy you with all good things, and keep you healthy too; and you will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.
WE MAY FALL
Sometimes we may even fall. We remain human, and as such we are weak and will fail and fall, but God is ready to lift us up and hold us up.
Psalm 37:23-24 The steps of good men are directed by the Lord. He delights in each step they take. If they fall, it isn’t fatal, for the Lord holds them with his hand.
Because God has made His hand available to us, we can know His strength and His almighty hand and this should give us confidence. If you have fallen in some way or another, it is time to grab His hand. It is only when we fall that we realize how much we actually need His hand in our lives.
