We have come into partnership with the Holy Spirit and now all we need to do is to develop It. We must learn to listen. We must recognise that He is a special partner, and we must be open to receive His wisdom, His instructions, His anointing, and His promptings. As we move in the flow of our Partner, the Holy Spirit, we become completely different people.
That was the secret of Jesus’ ministry. Before Jesus went out and ministered effectively, He went to the river Jordan and was baptised, the heavens opened and a dove came down and sat upon Him. That is why Jesus could say:
John 5:19 I never do anything but that I first see My Father do it. I never speak anything but I first hear My Father.”
How did He see and hear His Father? By the Spirit. Business men, doctors, tradesmen, and people in all walks of life can be far more effective, when they are in partnership with the Holy Spirit. God can produce the best in any person in any situation. Let the Holy Spirit be your partner trust Him to become your senior partner, and He will make you the best husband wife student child, because you are in partnership with God.
This is what the new Partner will do:
- He comforts John 14:18
- He encourages 1 Corinthians 14:3
- He guides John 16:13
- Acts 2:17 (dreams and visions)
- He empowers Acts 1:8 and Luke 24:49
- He lives in us 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
1 Corinthians 6:19 20 What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
