This is the road that God has for us. A road that get brighter and brighter.
Proverbs 4:18 But the good man walks along in the ever-brightening light of God’s favor; the dawn gives way to morning splendor.
When a person gives his/her heart to God it is as though the sun rises. God does not want us to stay there. He has a road of progress for us. It is like the sunrise must give way to morning splendor. It is like the morning splendor must give way to glorious daylight. We need to be experiencing this ever-brightening light as we walk.
Many Christians experience this. We settle for far less than what God is waiting to give. God’s plan is that we should experience more of Him. Don’t settle for less. Don’t stop half way up the hill. Go on to the top. Things will look different from there. How blessed we are to be able to experience more of God. We need to scale the heights with God.
