God watches the righteous with special attention.  Who are the righteous?  Those who are trying to live right and good lives.  Those who are in right standing with Him.  For these He has special attention.

Psalm 34:15 For the eyes of the Lord are intently watching all who live good lives.

I love the phrase that says He is intently following these people.  I want to fall into this category.

1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous

 We need to be careful how we live.  This is an important aspect.  If God has His eye on us we need to be careful how we live.  If we do this there is a great reward.

Deuteronomy 12:28 If you do what is right in the eyes of the Lord your God, all will go well with you and your children forever.

This is an inter-generational blessing.  If we will only do what is right in God’s eyes, not what is right in our own eyes. We need to watch how we live.  Listen to that blessing: ‘All will go well with you and your children forever.’  What a blessing!
