Sometimes our human minds want us to think that God has a general knowledge about everything. The truth of the matter is that God has a highly detailed knowledge of every single detail and aspect of everything that goes on.
Luke 12:6 What is the price of five sparrows? A couple of pennies? Not much more than that. Yet God does not forget a single one of them.
And God knows every aspect of your life!
Psalm 18:24 he knows, for he watches my every step. (Living Bible)
Luke 12:7 And he knows the number of hairs on your head!
Psalm 139:2 You know when I sit or stand. When far away you know my every thought.
God knows what we are made of and how we are made. He knows the weaknesses and the strengths. He knows what we have to go through and what we have to face.
Psalm 103:14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.
I love the phrase: ‘He remembers that we are dust’. This gives me such great comfort. Sometimes we think that we are made of strong stuff and other times we know that we are not. I am so glad God remembers.
