Love is the essential ingredient in our daily lives. We cannot live without it. We know when we are getting it and we know when we are not getting it.
I once heard someone say that if a new-born child was given food and left, it would die. It needs love and grow and develop. We all need love to grow and develop into all that we can be and all that God intends us to be.
One of the best ways to get love is to give it away. The Bible tells husbands to love their wives. Perhaps this is a good place to start. Start by showing love to those closest to you. Sometimes we are hardest on those we love the most.
Let’s turn this around and let’s begin to use God’s guidelines to begin to love and to start working on love like never before.
