Hold onto your confidence in God.

Psalm 56:3-4 But when I am afraid, I will put my confidence in you. Yes, I will trust the promises of God. And since I am trusting him, what can mere man do to me?
Psalm 118:8-9 It is better to trust the Lord than to put confidence in men. It is better to take refuge in him than in the mightiest king!

Having confidence in our hearts in God is very important. When we are facing times of fear or distress, those are the times for us to place and put our confidence in God.
Fear is the debilitating condition that robs us of our strength.  We must not allow fear to grip our hearts.

Isaiah 35:4 Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear!
Psalm 23:4 Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way.
John 14:1 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Luke 21:9 When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened.

Do not allow fear to grip your heart!
