Victory is only possible if Jesus lives in us. Let Him be Lord of your life.
1 John 4:4 Dear young friends, you belong to God and have already won your fight with those who are against Christ because there is someone (JESUS) in your hearts who is stronger than any evil teacher in this wicked world.
This was one of the main focuses in Jesus ministry. Jesus was involved in teaching, preaching and healing. Jesus is interested in your physical body. This aspect was important to Jesus. He wanted people to have victory over sickness and disease. He came to bring victory in this area.
Matthew 8:17 “He took our sicknesses and bore our diseases.”
Jesus died to make this possible.
1. This victory becomes a reality as we exercise our delegated authority
James 4:7-8 So give yourselves humbly to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. And when you draw close to God, God will draw close to you.
2. When we allow Jesus to come and live and be the Lord of our lives. When Jesus comes and lives in us He gives us the authority to resist and conquer.
God wants us to live in victory. In every area of our lives.
