Psalm 143:10
‘Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.’

God is looking at our hearts. He wants to make His presence real to those who are seeking for Him. We can begin worshiping God when we have hearts that are clean. Here are a few aspects that I have found helpful in my own life.

1. BEGIN WITH THANKFULNESS.

Think of the things that you can be thankful for. Often times we spend so much time bringing Him our concerns and requests. But when we worship it is great to start with thankfulness.

2. RESPOND FROM YOUR HEART AND EXPRESS YOUR THANKFULNESS TO GOD.

3. GIVE YOURSELF TO GOD

It is a form of surrender: ‘I SURRENDER ALL’.

4. ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO COME AND MAKE JESUS REAL TO YOU.

5. EXPECT TO EXPERIENCE GOD’S PRESENCE.

6. WAIT AND LISTEN

7. AS YOU BEGIN TO EXPERIENCE HIS PRESENCE, REMEMBER TO ENJOY IT.
