Deuteronomy 32:3-4I will proclaim the name of the LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He.
Psalm 18:2The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the strength of my salvation, and my stronghold.
What does it mean to say that Jesus is our Rock?
1. Permanence!
2. Stability!
3. Divine protection!
Psalm 71:3 O LORD, you are my refuge! Be to me a protecting rock of safety, where I am always welcome. Give the order to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.
2 Samuel 22:47 The Lord lives; blessed be my Rock!
Psalm 62:2 He only is my Rock and my Salvation, my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be greatly moved.
Have no other rock besides THE ROCK! Don’t be moved or shaken!
