This is an attitude that can hinder us from getting where God wants us to go.  We see this in the attitude of some people who believe that what people experienced in the New Testament was for then.  They think that it is not for now and we live in a different era.
The tragedy is that when you believe that what God has made available, is for some other time, it is over for you.  If we think the days of healing are over, then they’re over for us.  If we think that the days of the moving of God’s Spirit are over, they will be over for us.
What God did in the New Testament, He wants to do today and even more!What God has done and made available is never over, but it is over for us when we develop an attitude that says, ‘What God has done is over’.
