Every one of us, like Adam and Eve, have chosen to sin and disobey God!

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Romans 3:10-12 “As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all gone out of the way; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.”

As a result we too are UNDER THE CURSE

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

and OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD HAS BEEN BROKEN

Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.  But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.

God sees us no longer as His children or as part of His family but as the              CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL!
Listen to what Jesus said to some very religious people:

John 8:44  “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.”

Some would say that they do not believe that they are in such a predicament, but this is what the Bible says!
GOD DID NOT LEAVE US IN OUR PREDICAMENT, HE TOOK DECISIVE STEPS TO HELP US OUT! (Read more tomorrow)
