1. STABILITY – United we stand, divided we fall!
Mark 3:25 ‘A house divided against itself cannot stand!’
2. PURPOSE – Single-minded versus double-minded.
James 1:8 ‘Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.’
We should not be double minded! Our hearts must be fixed and we should be single minded in purpose. Everything that you do can have purpose when your heart is undivided! You can achieve what you set your heart to achieve!
Psalm 57:7 ‘My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.’
When our hearts are undivided, we will have reason to celebrate and rejoice.
3. PROGRESS – There is an old proverb that says: ‘A rolling stone gathers no moss!’ The meaning would indicate that a frequently replanted plant or tree yields little fruit. I have moved many trees in my lifetime. It takes many years for a tree to get established. If you move or transplant the tree, it takes years for that tree to reestablish itself again.
