Daily Bible Verse:              Job 42:12

‘The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.’

- With God the ‘good old days’ cannot compare to what lies ahead.
- We should not live in the past but we should look forward with hope.
- The Lord is able to restore and bring you into a new and better season.
- You may have been through a lot, but the Lord still has good things for you.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your blessing on my life. You have brought me to this point and as I trust You I know that the next part of my life can be even better than the best of the past. Amen.

Daily Bible Verse: Job 42:12
‘The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.’

Daily Bible Verse: 2 Samuel 24:25
‘And the LORD answered his prayer for the land, and the plague was stopped.’

What Can We Expect - Blessing

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT – BLESSING

You might say: ‘How can I expect God to bless me?’ I believe that we can trust God and live in expectation that He wants to bless us. As you face this new season you can also ask and believe God for His blessing on your life. There is an example of such a request in the Old Testament.

PRAYER OF JABEZ

1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

You and I can pray this same prayer and believe God for a same out come.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT - EXPECT GREAT THINGS FROM GOD!

God has wonderful things and plans in store for each of us. We must begin to expect, anticipate, look forward to, begin to consider probable, likely or certain and activate our faith that God has great things in store for us.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Don’t look to man but look to God. Let your expectation be from Him.

Psalm 62:5 My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectation are from Him.
