Daily Bible Verse: Job 42:12
‘The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.’
- With God the ‘good old days’ cannot compare to what lies ahead.
- We should not live in the past but we should look forward with hope.
- The Lord is able to restore and bring you into a new and better season.
- You may have been through a lot, but the Lord still has good things for you.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your blessing on my life. You have brought me to this point and as I trust You I know that the next part of my life can be even better than the best of the past. Amen.
Daily Bible Verse: Job 42:12
‘The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.’
Daily Bible Verse: 2 Samuel 24:25
‘And the LORD answered his prayer for the land, and the plague was stopped.’
BROKEN HEARTS
Today, your heart may be broken. You may say that if I knew the condition of your heart, I would not be asking this ‘total heart commitment’ from you. But God is the master in handling the broken hearts.
Psalm 51:17 ‘A broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.’
God wants to help us. He wants to come along side and walk us through.
Psalm 86:11 Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.’
God is looking for undivided hearts.
THE BLESSING
There is a blessing for those who will seek God with all their hearts:
Psalm 119:2 ‘Blessed are those who seek Him with all their hearts.’
Let us make the right decision. Let God into your heart.
Psalm 139:23 ‘Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.’
God knows our hearts. We need to love God with all our hearts
