Daily Bible Verse: 2 Samuel 24:25
‘And the LORD answered his prayer for the land, and the plague was stopped.’
- Impossible situations are not too hard for God to handle.
- Our world is plagued by so many challenges at this time in history.
- Let us pray and ask the Lord to intervene because He can put a stop to it.
- Continue trusting the Lord in your situation and He will make a way.
Prayer: Lord, surely You are the One Who can turn tragedy to triumph, despair to hope and hopeless situations into a testimony of Your faithfulness and love. Amen.
Daily Bible Verse: 2 Samuel 24:25
‘And the LORD answered his prayer for the land, and the plague was stopped.’
Daily Bible Verse: Psalm 30:1
‘I will exalt You, LORD, for You lifted me out of the depths…’
THANKFULNESS IS AN ATTITUDE
At the end of it all thankfulness is an attitude.
1 Chronicles 16:24 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; His love and his kindness go on forever.
We can be thankful just because of the fact that God loves us.
Colossians 3:14 Let the peace of heart that comes from Christ be always present in your hearts and lives, for this is your responsibility and privilege as members of his body. And always be thankful.
Psalm 30:4-5 Oh, sing to him you saints of his; give thanks to his holy name. His anger lasts a moment; his favor lasts for life!
Lets have an attitude of thankfulness today.
PRAYER AND THANKFULNESS
The Bible indicates that there is a link between thankfulness and prayer.
We should be thankful for what God is going to do.
1 Timothy 2:1 Pray much for others; plead for God’s mercy upon them; give thanks for all he is going to do for them.
We need to remember to be thankful when God answers our prayers.
Colossians 4:2 Don’t be weary in prayer; keep at it; watch for God’s answers, and remember to be thankful when they come.
Our praying and our thankfulness go hand in hand.
Thankfulness should be our natural response to what God has done and our ‘faith-filled’ expectation of what He is going to do.
