Daily Bible Verse: Job 42:12
‘The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.’
- With God the ‘good old days’ cannot compare to what lies ahead.
- We should not live in the past but we should look forward with hope.
- The Lord is able to restore and bring you into a new and better season.
- You may have been through a lot, but the Lord still has good things for you.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your blessing on my life. You have brought me to this point and as I trust You I know that the next part of my life can be even better than the best of the past. Amen.
Daily Bible Verse: Job 42:12
‘The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.’
Daily Bible Verse: 2 Samuel 24:25
‘And the LORD answered his prayer for the land, and the plague was stopped.’
God wants to help us. To call on God for help is a legitimate thing to do. I have often asked God for help. The Bible has many examples of people who called on God for help. Perhaps you have been calling on God for help, or perhaps you need to call on God for your situation. God wants to come through for us. Call and keep on calling on God for help.
ASKING FOR HELP IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO
We were not designed to operate independently of God.
We were created to know God and His help in our lives. David, who wrote the Psalms, was a man mightily used by God and yet he is the one who asked for God’s help more than others. We see him asking for help, calling for help and in one case screaming for help. So today if you need help, ASK GOD.
Psalm 12:1 Help, LORD Psalm 18:6 In my distress I screamed to the Lord for his help. And he heard me from heaven; my cry reached his ears.
