Prayer: Lord, thank You for the reassurance that You have a plan and purpose for my life. I choose to rise and take hold of what You have for me. May my life be an instrument in Your hand and may I be a blessing to those around me. Amen.

4. GOD WANTS YOU TO FLOURISH
Isaiah 58:11‘You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.’
The Living Bible says: ‘Like a well-watered garden!’ What picture do you see when I say the words: ‘A well-watered garden’? If you look at your life today, would you describe it using those words? That is what God desires for you and for me. There is even more! God wants us to be like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. The benefit of a spring is not something the spring enjoys. The real advantage is for those downstream of the spring. What this tells me is that God wants to cause you to be a blessing to those around you. He wants to make you able to provide life giving water to others. Like an ever-flowing spring. WOW! That’s beyond expectation!
5. GOD WANTS TO REBUILD YOU
Isaiah 58:12’And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt’
What are ruins? Ruins are a total disintegration or collapse of something; the remains of something that has been destroyed. Is there an aspect of your life that fits this definition? This speaks of renewing and repairing what has been lost, broken and destroyed. That area of your life that you think can never be restored or recovered – God wants to rebuild! God wants to use you in this process. Have you ever thought of yourself as ‘the repairer of the breach’ or ‘the restorer of streets to dwell in’? Perhaps God will even use YOU in the rebuilding/restoring process! It also speaks of ancient ruins. This speaks to me of damage done long ago. Perhaps it is something long forgotten or something you have tried to even forget. It could include something you have written off. God wants to rebuild your ancient ruins. He wants to make something beautiful out of the ruins of the past.
