Daily Bible Verse: Acts 26:16
‘Rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose…’
- The Lord wants you to stand up in His strength and ability.
- He has a plan and a purpose for your life.
- You are not here by mistake or by accident.
- Be encouraged, He has chosen and appointed you for His purposes.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the reassurance that You have a plan and purpose for my life. I choose to rise and take hold of what You have for me. May my life be an instrument in Your hand and may I be a blessing to those around me. Amen.

SIX THINGS THAT GOD WANTS TO DO FOR YOU - BEYOND EXPECTATION!
(Point 6)
6. GOD WANTS TO RESTORE YOU TO YOUR HIGH PLACE
Isaiah 58:14 ‘and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth, and I will feed you with the heritage [promised for you] of Jacob your father; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.’
Riding on the high places speaks of dominion and authority. Many people have been brought low, by all that has happened in life. This speaks of great security (riding the high places), but it also speaks of great dignity and advancement. God wants to restore your dignity, your dominion, your security and your sense of forward movement and advancement. We all feel like we have lost ground from time to time. We may even know that we are not where we were or where we are meant to be, but God is the great restorer. God wants to restore you to your high place. This is beyond expectation. Don’t settle for less. Don’t just accept things as they are. Believe in God and the things He has prepared for you.
CONCLUSION
Ephesians 3:20 Now to (unto) Him Who, is able to do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams.
God is able to do these things. He has what it takes to make it possible. The word expectation comes from a root word which means to look forward with anticipation. It can be compared to the concept of ‘being pregnant’. This is how we should live when it comes to God. We should live lives that are full of expectation. You may ask the question: ‘On what basis can I be expectant?’ On the basis that God is able to do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think.
