Daily Bible Verse: Job 42:12
‘The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.’
- With God the ‘good old days’ cannot compare to what lies ahead.
- We should not live in the past but we should look forward with hope.
- The Lord is able to restore and bring you into a new and better season.
- You may have been through a lot, but the Lord still has good things for you.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your blessing on my life. You have brought me to this point and as I trust You I know that the next part of my life can be even better than the best of the past. Amen.
Daily Bible Verse: Job 42:12
‘The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part.’
Daily Bible Verse: 2 Samuel 24:25
‘And the LORD answered his prayer for the land, and the plague was stopped.’
HOLDING ONTO OUR FAITH
Sometimes we do get discouraged and loose hope. This is something we all have to pass through.
Luke 8:25 Then he asked them, “Where is your faith?”
But no matter what we may be going through we must not let go of this vital and integral part of our Christian lives.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Hold onto your faith. Don’t let go of your faith.
FAITH WORKS
As we have said before, our faith should be active. As a result of our faith we should be moved into action.
Galatians 5:6 ‘faith works by love’.
The Bible speaks of faith ‘working’ and then also says that faith without works is dead. As a result of our faith we should be moved from a place of complacency to place of actively obeying God and doing whatever He says. God is looking for faith within us, the faith that He has implanted, faith that is active and trusting Him completely. Put your faith in action and trust God. Obey whatever He says.
