He is the source of all the compassion and mercy you long for. Somewhere within our human frame is that hope that we will receive compassion. We know that we make mistakes and don’t always have the right attitude and secretly we hope we will receive or be extended compassion. HE comes and gives us this unlimited compassion.
Psalm 119:156 Your compassion, LORD, is great ….
2 Corinthians 1:3 ‘Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions, and God of all encouragement ….’
Lamentations 3:22 It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
His compassion for you is great. He is the source of the compassion you long for. His compassion will not in any way fail you.
OUR DAILY BREAD
He is not ignorant of our daily, practical needs. He sees and He knows and He provides.
Luke 11:3 Give us each day our daily bread.
Expect Him to be your source. Go to where His provision is.
Ruth 1:6 ‘When Naomi heard in Moab that the LORD had come to the aid of His people by providing food for them, she and her daughters-in-law prepared to return home from there.’
God came to the aid of His people by providing them with exactly what they needed. His help is practical and relevant to our needs.
