Sometimes we get locked into situations or circumstances that seem to have no end or no way of getting out of. These can be any host of things. It could include: relationship and marriage problems, financial hardships, a frustrating career or job, frustrations and dissatisfaction in some or other area. You may be wondering will this situation every change or am I just locked-in to this for life? Relief also means the breaking of or the avoiding of monotony or boredom. Expect change and expect ‘suddenly’s’ in your situation.
Acts 2:1 – 2 ‘When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. SUDDENLY a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from the heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.’
RELIEF – GOD HAS INTERVENED!
We carry so many things that we were not designed to carry. Sometimes we feel that if we do not do it, it will never be done. There are some things we can do nothing about. We must not ‘sweat the small stuff’. We must not worry about things we can do nothing about. Let us do the possible and let’s leave the impossible to God! God wants to come and release us from a post (of solving every problem) or from the performance of duty, especially when there is nothing we can do about it. God is going to intervene in your situation. Give Him the impossible.
2 Timothy 1:12 ‘For I know the One in whom I trust, and I am sure that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him.’
