Psalm 103:13 ‘As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.’
God is aware of our distresses. He is not ignorant of them. He is sympathetic to the things that we are going through. God has a desire to alleviate it. That is what compassion is.
Psalm 116:5 ‘Our God is full of compassion.’
Psalm 119:156 ‘Your compassion is great, O Lord.’
We are connected to God so that we can experience His compassion. We must not forget this wonderful fact. We have a connection. We must make use of the connection. God wants us to live a life of vital connectedness with Him. It is possible.
