This is another fear that many people battle with. It is basically the fear of the future. The future is one of the great unknowns in our lives. We begin by living in the future. Then, because the future is unknown we begin to fear it. As a result we don’t enjoy what we already have – the present!
Psalm 46:1-2 God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble. And so we need not fear even if the world blows up and the mountains crumble into the sea.
Here is an example: many people have a fear of dying and in the process they don’t enjoy living. Let’s enjoy every moment we have and let’s not live in the future with all its unknowns.
